Sara Tall

Director of Programs & Operations

Sara is the Director of Programs & Operations at the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, where she oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that address needs and opportunities in Hall County. In her role, she also supports the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, helping strengthen systems, processes, and collaboration across the organization.

Before joining the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, Sara served as the executive director of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra and the director of the Hastings BID. She also worked as a creative freelancer with nonprofits across the U.S., including the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage, Alaska.

Sara holds dual degrees in Studio Art and Advertising/Public Relations from Hastings College. She believes deeply in civic engagement and supporting local businesses, a passion rooted in her upbringing working in her family’s greenhouse and restaurant in San Diego, California.
