Greater Impact Grant Program

The Greater Grand Island Community Foundation’s Greater Impact Grant Program is designed to address unmet charitable needs and unique program opportunities for essential and emerging issues in the Hall County area.

The program includes three categories of funding:

Fields of Interest Grants

Donor-funded and Foundation-guided, these grants support nonprofit projects and programs. They are made possible through funds established by donors who care deeply about causes including art and culture, basic needs, children and youth, community enrichment, community health, education, animal welfare and wildlife conservation, and veterans services. STOP Fund Grants

Focused on education, prevention, justice, support, and treatment, to eliminate trafficking in the Greater Grand Island area, primarily within Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick, and Adams counties. Preference is given to Hall County. Learn more.

Harold Dunlap Fund Grants

Dedicated to addressing unmet charitable needs and unique opportunities that strengthen the Cairo, Nebraska community. Learn more.

The Foundation reviews requests on an ongoing basis and typically awards grants of up to $10,000 ($5,000 for the STOP fund), depending on the fund’s requirements, the project or program, and the availability of funds.
