Community VolunteerRenee Miller is a retired registered nurse who worked most of her career at CHI Health Saint Francis. A resident of Grand Island, Nebraska since 1993, Renee holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been actively involved in numerous community and civic organizations. Her contributions include serving as a board member and campaign chair for Heartland United Way, a member of the Act of Kindness (AOK) Ladies, a board member and president at Hope Harbor, and an outreach committee member at St. Leo's Church. Additionally, she has been a parish nurse and mission trip coordinator for Resurrection Church. She also served on the board and was president one year for the National Advisory Council for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Renee and her husband, Mark, are proud parents of three grown children—Ryan, Sara, and Abby— and 5 grandchildren who they enjoy spending time with.
