Who is eligible to win?

Any K–12 public or private school teacher or counselor in Hall County, in any subject area or field, who has not won before. Whether it's math, music, special education, or anything in between, we want to celebrate educators who make a lasting impact.

Who can nominate?

Nominations are welcome from students, parents, colleagues, and community members.

How does it work?

Nomination period: September. Specific dates change year to year. 
Once nominations close, a committee of educators, community members, GGICF staff, and board members reviews submitted applications.

Top-scoring applicants move on to the administrator reference phase, followed by interviews with selected finalists. The award is typically presented at a ceremony before the end of the calendar year.

When will we know who won?

The recipient will be announced by the end of the year.
