GGICF Welcomes new Program Officer, Sara Tall

GGICF welcomes our new Program Officer, Sara Tall.

Sara is a Program Officer at the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to address needs in Hall County. She collaborates with local organizations, board members, and other stakeholders to ensure initiatives are effective and align with the Foundation’s mission and goals.  

Before joining the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, Sara served as the executive director of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra, where she revitalized the organization through strategic planning, community engagement, and innovative fundraising solutions. She also worked as a creative freelancer with various nonprofits across the U.S., including the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage, AK.  

Sara holds dual degrees in Studio Art and Advertising/PR from Hastings College. She believes in civic engagement and supporting local businesses, a passion rooted in her upbringing working in her family’s greenhouse and restaurant in San Diego, CA. 

Outside work, Sara enjoys reading, exercising her rescue dog, Pippa, and renovating her first home, reflecting her dedication to hard work and investing in her community.
