EIT nominations are open!
The time of year to nominate your favorite educator for the Kim West Dinsdale Excellence In Teaching Award is here. Nominations are open until September 22nd, 2021, and are open to anyone who wants to nominate an outstanding teacher. Hall County educators teaching grades Pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to be nominated for this award. Anyone can submit a nomination, including current and former students, parents, colleagues, principals, administrators, and friends. Kim Dinsdale has generously given recognition to Hall County educators with this award since 2005; including 19 previous winners. In addition to a recognition ceremony in December, the winner of the Excellence in Teaching Award will also receive a prize of $5,000.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE KIM WEST DINSDALE EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD:
- Must be an active and certified teacher and/or guidance counselor of students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grades.
- Must be employed by a school located in Hall County - public or private.
Anyone may submit a nomination, including current and former students, parents, colleagues, principals, administrators, and friends. An educator MAY NOT self-nominate NOR be nominated by a family member.
