In 2020, Herson Castaneda joined Schuster Anderson Wealth Advisors. Herson was born in California where he later relocated to Grand Island, Nebraska. He has been in the Grand Island area for 20 years. He attended Grand Island Senior High and Central Community College where he received his associate degree in Business Administration. His career in the financial industry began in 2019 at Wells Fargo Advisors where he worked as a Financial Professional. Herson currently holds his Series 7, Series 66 registrations, and Nebraska Insurance License in life and annuities, sickness, accident and health, variable contracts. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, he was self-employed and worked for an immigration law firm as a legal assistant. Herson provided Spanish interpreting and translation services for various industries. He worked with local government offices, local court interpreting, private defense attorneys, doctors, dentists, and then worked his way up to interpreting Immigration Courts all over the U.S. He enjoys being involved in the community and through his love of his work, and talents he has helped to bridge the language barrier within the community. Herson is involved with the Grand Island Area Young Professionals, board member for the Grand Island Habitat for Humanity, Heartland Health Center board member and a Teammates mentor. Herson enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, and his dog, Oliver. He enjoys traveling, reading, Husker football, and staying dedicated and involved in the growth of the Grand Island community.
