GRACE - Grand Island Area Cancer Endowment

Grand Island Community Foundation manages funds contributed to benefit GRACE (Grand Island Area Cancer Endowment). GRACE was established to offer support to area cancer patients and their families. The organization's signature event is the "Dance with the Stars" event scheduled each October. Recent grants include a gift of $5,000 to the campaign to purchase digital mamography equipment, and two scholarships awarded to area students.
New in 2011 was the "Race for GRACE" on April 9. The event was extremely successful. Next up, Dance with the Stars!
