The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will arrive in Grand Island on June 30, 2010 and will be on display for five (5) days at the Hall County Veterans Park. The 300-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be escorted into Grand Island June 30 and erected the following day. Opening Ceremonies are scheduled to take place Friday, July 2 at 4:00 p.m. Governor Heinemann will lead the ceremoney. Grand Island Community Foundation manages the project fund established to support bringing The Wall to Grand Island.
