Lisa Katzberg
Executive Director
Grand Island Community Foundation
Working with donors to assist them in meeting their charitable goals, Lisa brings 20 years of nonprofit experience to the Foundation. In addition to the assistance she provides donors and her responsibilities managing the assets of the Foundation, she works with local agencies to develop leadership and she teaches an accelerated bachelor's degree program through
Bellevue University. For nine years, she has been guiding students through 36 credit hours of nonprofit management courses; preparing them for leadership and community service. Recognized as the Grand Island Independent's Woman of the Year in 1996, and United Way's Citizen of the Year
in 2000, she has earned the respect of both the community and her peers. Lisa resides in Doniphan with her husband, Greg and their two daughters Tori and Lexi.

Carla Maurer
Administrative Assistant
Grand Island Community Foundation
With over two decades of nonprofit experience to her credit, Carla manages our daily accounting functions with ease and efficiency. In fact, Carla is so efficient she also serves as the Director of Finance for the Heartland United Way. Carla is active with the Doniphan-Trumbull Booster Club, Doniphan Economic Development Committee, and is a Lay Leader at her church. She is also an alumna of Leadership Tomorrow and the Community Police Academy. Carla lives in Doniphan with her husband, Mark, and their children Ashley and Heath.
