| AHRENS CHARITABLE TRUST (HENRY AND MARIA)
This scholarship was established to honor the memories of Henry and Maria Ahrens, and to benefit Hall County residents who are interested in a career in the medical field. Preference will be given to those entering into a graduate field of study. This scholarship requires college transcripts, applicable graduate school entrance exams, and a letter of recommendation.
$3,000.00 Scholarship – Joseph Vavricek IV, a second year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
$2,000.00 Scholarship – Megan Campbell, a first year human medical genetics student at the University of Colorado, Denver Health Sciences Center.
$2,000.00 Scholarship – Lindsay Monk, a first year physician assistant student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
$2,000.00 Scholarship – Amy Schwaderer, a first year physician assistant student at the Union College.
$1,000.00 Scholarship – Nikki Bond, a second year radiology student at Central Community College in Grand Island.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND (EDGAR)
This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Edgar Barge, and to benefit graduating high school seniors who are registered parishioners at Blessed Sacrament Church in Grand Island. This scholarship requires parish participation and a letter of recommendation. (*)

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Eleanore J. Brune and to benefit non-traditional students, particularly returning adults.

CONNICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (KAREN)
This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Karen Connick and to benefit a graduating high school senior from the Doniphan, Giltner or Trumbull area.

$500.00 Scholarship – Lauren Dinan, a graduate of Doniphan Trumbull High School. Ms. Dinan plans to study Wildlife Biology at Southeast Missouri State University.

This scholarship was established in memory of George Cowton to honor his work with Rotary and his passion for education. Graduating high school seniors from Grand Island Central Catholic and Grand Island Senior High are eligible to apply.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (HOWARD G. AND GLADYS A.)
This scholarship was established to honor the memories of Howard and Gladys Eakes. One scholarship will be awarded annually to a child or stepchild of an Eakes Office Plus employee. This scholarship requires a cumulative 3.0 GPA or better.

Established to benefit graduating high school seniors, non-traditional students, and returning adults from Adams, Blaine, Boone, Buffalo, Clay, Custer, Dawson, Franklin, Furnas, Garfield, Gosper, Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Kearney, Loup, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls, Phelps, Platte, Polk, Sherman, Valley, Webster, and Wheeler counties in Nebraska. Consideration will be given to students seeking a certificate, diploma or associate degree through a technical institution in a Business, Health, or Travel and Tourism course of study.

This scholarship was established to benefit both graduating high school seniors and continuing education students attending Central Community College on the Grand Island Campus. Consideration will be given to students in the following programs: Automotive Technology, Data Processing, Diesel Technology, Drafting Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Office Technology, and Welding Technology.
