GI Community Foundation Partners With Kiewit

Grand Island Community foundation will partner again in 2010 with the Peter Kiewit Foundation to distribute a total of $25,000 in emergency relief funds. Relief funds have been designated to help organizations with established practices meet essential human needs during these difficult economic times and cold prairie winter months. $20,000 will be committed through the Kiewit Foundation and an additional $5,000 through the Community Foundation. Funds have been designated to meet emergency food and energy assistance programs in Grand Island.
