Lois and Harold Hanshew Scholarship Fund

Established in February 2010, this scholarship provides assistance to students attending graduate school. Lois, a teacher and guidance counselor in Sherman County for many years, created this scholarship on behalf of herself and her late husband, Harold. The applicant must be accepted and enrolled as a full time student  in a minimum of a two-year program in a post-graduate institution on a path to obtain an advanced degree. The applicant must also have been a resident of Sherman County for at least one year while attending high school and have attended an accredited four-year university.
