Mark Moravec

Born and raised in David City, NE, Mark graduated from Aquinas High School and then attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics. He was a 3-year letterman on the Husker Football Team playing fullback for Coach Tom Osborne. Mark began his career in Sales & Marketing with Cargill Inc. and spent 16 years in various sales & management positions in 4 locations. He then became V.P. of Marketing with Associated Staffing in Grand Island, a position he held for 6 years. He then joined Chief Industries as Director of HR for 8 years until he transitioned into his current position as Business Development Manager for Chief Construction. Mark currently serves as the chairman of the Nebraska Workforce Investment Board of Directors, the past president of the Blessed Sacrament Parish Council, the president of the Riverside Golf Club Operating Board, and the Equitable Bank Board of Directors. He and his wife of 41 years have 3 daughters, Natalie, Jillian & Samantha, and 1 son, Brent, along with 11 grandchildren. He is an avid outdoorsman who likes to hunt & fish, play golf, and follow his grandkid's activities.
